A day designed to bring great joy and honor to special needs children and their families. BIG DAY OUT is a large field day filled with inflatables, face painting, carnival games, music, video games, jugglers, balloon artists, sand art, visits from special guests and much more.
Play Ball!
Every Spring and Fall The Golden Soldiers, Inc adopt a team from special needs baseball leagues and participate as buddies during the games. This is an exciting event and one which brings great fun and memories.
Movie Theater Experience
A sensory friendly movie is a movie which is shown without previews, the sound is not as loud as a regular movie, and the lights are not as dim. You can also talk, shout, scream and run around the movie theater during these events!
Special Needs Planning
Workshops designed to educate families through the maze of legal and financial complexities surrounding planning for the future of dependents with special needs.
